Debbie C. Sasso, CISA, CRISC - Principal

Debbie C. Sasso is one of the founding principals of Competitive Edge Services. She is an intelligent and ambitious executive in the technology profession. Her skills are extensive and highly developed throughout many aspects of the information technology profession.

She has over 25 years experience working on an extensive list of information technology projects, all of which she can extend to you and your business. When in private industry as the Director of Information Services, she sharpened her understanding of how Information Systems must support the objectives of a business, and her executive management experience gives her a fuller appreciation of both the challenges and opportunities facing today’s business decision makers. Deb has an in-depth knowledge of business systems and applications, and the programming involved in them.

She has held positions as a Programmer, Analyst, Programming Manager, Operations Center Manager and Database Manager. The areas of her business applications experience includes: Financial Reporting, Inventory Control, Manufacturing Resource & Capacity Planning, Order Processing and fulfillment, and Human Resources, as well as Contact Management Systems and Web Based technologies.

Most recently, she was awarded the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control deisignation and has obtained the designation of Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Deb earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Worcester State College and served on the Board of Directors for the Worcester Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2000, she was named Accounting Today’s Information Technology Partner on the "All-Pro Team".

Whenever Deb finally has time off from her busy schedule, she enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, fine dining, wine tastings and jazz music.

Patricia A. Lacouture – Principal

As one of the founding partners of Competitive Edge Services, Patricia Lacouture is a respected executive and information technology professional who has a highly regarded background of over 30 years in the business community.

Pat started her esteemed IT career at a manufacturing company, where she held positions as a Programmer Analyst, Project Manager and Programming Manager. In conjunction with these positions and currently being a business owner, Pat has honed in on successful methodologies and on how Information Systems must support the objectives of a business. Pat’s technical skills are extensive and quite varied. She has worked with a number of programming languages, database systems, and software products, and has managed numerous company-wide projects. She has an in depth knowledge of business applications and the programming involved in them and is currently responsible for the growth and management of the Business Applications division of Competitive Edge.

Her business applications experience extends into areas of Financial Reporting, Inventory Control, Manufacturing Resource & Capacity Planning, Order Processing and fulfillment, Warehouse Management, and Contact Management Systems. Pat also holds Microsoft Dynamics NAV certifications in Financials, Development, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, and Implementation & Configuration. She has also assisted organizations in their IT assurance and Sarbanes-Oxley reporting requirements.

Pat earned a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Assumption College. As a mother of 5 kids, her skills at multi-tasking and organization are bar none. Whenever there are precious moments of down time, Pat enjoys gardening, travelling and photography with her family and friends .
